Twilight Poem That Started It All

When I read Twilight, I’m afraid I got hooked
So my Edward crush I blame on a friend
who lent me the book!

What is it about Bella and Edward that sets
our hearts a flutter?
My goodness, my friends, I could be his mother!

Some say Jacob’s muscles will steal
Bella’s heart,
But they’re no match for Edward
Who’s cute and so smart.

Be it werewolf or vampire, that’s Bella’s quest
But I can’t stand hairy so ice cold is best.

Ah, to be Bella so young and hormone riddled
But wait we've got hormones they just
take longer to sizzle!

Bless my dear husband who puts up
with my Twilight craze
Lucky for me he thinks it’s a phase.

Some say Twilight will corrupt the mind
But women like romance and that’s hard to find.
So I have Edward on my calendar, screensaver
and PJs too
I don’t have a problem, and neither do you.

We work and we clean and take care of the house
So we read to escape, we still come
home to our spouse.

So sit back and enjoy cause
The movie is all fantasy.
We all know true love is best
When you stick to humanity.
