When I’m in trouble

Who do I call?

Who saves the day?
Not Spiderman

Not Superman

But JESUS, my Superhero

He shows up when I pray

There is no other hero

Who is as big and strong
Who loves me no matter what

Even when I do wrong

Jesus, my protector

Rescuer in times of need

My shelter in the storm

Safe under the cape of His wings

He gave his very life for me

Shed His blood on that tree

Thank you, Jesus, for your sacrifice

I will follow where You lead
